March is Women's History Month, and the United Church of Christ has a long tradition of fighting for women's rights. In fact, we were the first Christian denomination to ordain a woman, Antoinette Brown, back in 1853. Since then the UCC has continued to fight for women's justice - including voting rights, fair wages, reproductive rights, and the need to end violence against women.
In honor of this continued legacy and the observance of Women's History Month you are encouraged to explore the Women and Gender Justice page on the UCC website, and the United Church of Christ Youtube channel.
