On Saturday, April 27, 12 men and women from FCCWP’s Spirit Keepers and Come Alive! groups gathered for a Service Day at Camp Boggy Creek, a local camp that serves children with serious medical needs. They worked hard, completing two projects that the camp wanted to have in place before their busy summer camp season begins in a few weeks.
Project 1: Boathouse Reconfiguration: Three new wooden benches were built along with new handrails. The ceiling beams, handrails and benches were then painted.
Project 2: Landscaping outside The Patch Medical Center: planting lantana, holly and flax lilies, adding top soil and mulch, trimming existing shrubs.
It was a great day to serve Camp Boggy Creek.
