On Saturday, October 19th over a dozen members of First Congregational Church participated in the 2024 Come Out With Pride celebration at Lake Eola in downtown Orlando. Members took turns in our booth talking with attendees as well as marching in the "Most Colorful Parade". Many we spoke with were surprised to discover there are churches who are truly supportive and affirming of the LGBTQ community, and expressed gratitude for our presence.
Participating in the enthusiasm of the Pride Parade and spreading the inclusive and message of our church beyond the sanctuary walls is always a memorable experience - we hope to see you with us next year!
