This year FCCWP celebrated Earth Day with a booth at the Lake Eola Central Florida Earth Day on Saturday, April 20th. Church members took shifts at the booth to share the United Church of Christ's dedication to Environmental Justice.
Then on Sunday the Outreach Board brought us two wonderful speakers for Earth Day. Clay and James shared with us the great work Ideas For Us is doing to benefit the environment. Originally started at the University of Central Florida and still based in Orlando, Ideas for Us is very involved in the local community but also active on a global scale.
