Young Church For All

Young Church – On Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. we gather as a church family in our historic Sanctuary. Early in the service, children are invited to the front of the Sanctuary for a lesson before leaving for Sunday School.

Sunday School meets weekly on Sunday mornings during the school year. Each class has a Lead Teacher who participates in a weekly Bible Study related to our “Seasons of the Spirit” curriculum. Parents assist the Lead Teachers with lessons and activities.

Children’s and Youth Choirs – Choir experiences for children and youth from kindergarten though high school are provided in three age groups.  Choirs meet to rehearse on Sunday mornings and perform frequently on Sunday mornings during the academic year.

Children’s Bell Choir – Meets on Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m.  Interested children learn bell playing for worship service.

Vacation Bible School – Children engage in a week long Vacation Bible School each summer.  C.A.M.P. VBS stands for Care About My Planet.  The curriculum has been designed for our VBS with a new focus each year.  Once the theme is chosen,  volunteers prepare during the spring for this exciting week of learning Bible stories and getting to know each other. For Registration for this years C.A.M.P. VBS, contact the church office

FledgeW.I.N.G.S. – Parents with children K-5th grades and their siblings meet monthly for fun times … pool parties, field trips, and other seasonal activities like Pumpkinfest and Eggstravaganza. These are great times for the entire family.

Wednesday Night Live at FCCWP meets Wednesday evenings during the school year. Wednesday activities revolve around our favorite activity–a great dinner and fellowship time! Check our Facebook pages for details, or subscribe to our newsletters (call the church office to subscribe)!

Wednesday evenings include times for children, pottery, computer lab, liturgical dance, and activity time for children while their other activities for adults.

Walk Through Bethlehem or a Christmas Pageant – Walk Through Bethlehem and a Christmas Pageant are conducted in alternating years. These events involve children in the sights and sounds of the Christmas season and are a delight for the entire congregation and our guests.

Outreach and Community Service – We provide opportunities for children to engage in outreach and community service opportunities throughout the year.
